What is the anti-static tray? , We must first figure out what static electricity is? It is necessary to understand in advance whether conduction and antistatic are the same thing. Static electricity is a static charge. Conduction is the existence of electrons in a conductor that can move freely. Electrons move directionally to form a current. Static electrons, so these two words are different. It cannot be said that an object is conductive, so it will be anti-static. The so-called static electricity is a static charge or a non-flowing charge (the flowing charge forms a current). When charges accumulate on an object or surface, static electricity is formed, and charges are divided into positive and negative charges, that is to say, electrostatic phenomena are also divided into two types: positive static electricity and negative static electricity. When a positive charge accumulates on an object, a positive static electricity is formed, and when a negative charge accumulates on an object, a negative static electricity is formed, but whether it is positive or negative static electricity, when an electrostatic object contacts a zero-potential object (ground Objects) or objects with a potential difference therebetween, charge transfer will occur, which is a spark discharge phenomenon that we commonly see every day. For example, the weather in the north is dry in winter, the human body is easy to carry static electricity, and the discharge phenomenon will occur when contacting others or metal conductors. People will feel acupuncture sensation of electric shock, and they can see sparks at night. This is the reason why chemical fiber clothing rubs against the human body to bring positive static electricity. (With basic physical knowledge, we know that rubber rods rub against fur, rubber rods are negatively charged, and furs are positively charged). Static electricity is not static electricity, but electricity temporarily staying somewhere in the macro. When a person stands on a carpet or a sofa, the human body voltage can also be more than 10,000 volts, and the static electricity in the rubber and plastic film industry can be as high as more than 100,000 volts. Matter is composed of molecules, molecules are composed of atoms, atoms are composed of negatively charged electrons and positively charged protons. Under normal conditions, the number of protons of an atom is the same as the number of electrons, and the balance is positive and negative, so it shows no charge externally. There have been many contacts for plastics in the past, such as PPS.PEI.PES.PPA.PC, which are imported and domestically produced. But for the conductive series, it is the first contact. Now think about the customers who have required anti-static ESD Insulation, etc., are unavoidably new to plastic. So I checked the data and finally understood that there is still a difference between conductive and anti-static. Definition of conductive plastic When the surface resistance of plastics and products is greater than 10 power, it is easy to generate static electricity; it has certain antistatic performance between 8-10 power; it has good antistatic performance between 6-8 power ; It has the best antistatic performance between the 4th and 6th powers; when it reaches below the 4th power, it has considerable conductive properties and belongs to conductor semiconductor materials. Prevention and control of plastic static electricity Add some materials that are hygroscopic and harmless to plastics (auxiliary) to reduce their surface resistance. This is the antistatic agent for plastics. It is used according to the type of antistatic agent selected for different types of plastics. Both ionic and nonionic types are hygroscopic antistatic agents. After adding these additives, these materials absorb moisture in the air and reduce the surface resistance to achieve antistatic performance.
